CruiseKick is run by Nick Bonatsakis, who builds the CruiseKick iOS app and is accountable for what is published on this site. Kelly Bonatsakis of Vacations by Kelly, CruiseKick's trusted travel agency partner, is the named author of our destination, planning, and packing guides. Nick is the named author of our tracking, cruise line, cost, and safety guides. Each named author is responsible for the AI-assisted drafts published under their name.

Our guides and news posts are drafted with AI assistance. We say so on every article. Here is how it works in practice:

• News posts are short rewrites of stories reported elsewhere, with the source named. We do not report original news.
• Guides are AI-drafted, then edited and checked against what we can verify. Live ship positions and port data come from our own tracking systems, not from AI.
• Not every older guide cites its sources yet. We are consolidating and rewriting the guide library and adding citations as we go, so some guides will change or disappear.

When Kelly has reviewed a guide's travel details, the byline says "Travel details reviewed by Kelly Bonatsakis". If a guide does not carry that line, she has not reviewed it. Her review covers travel accuracy such as cabin types, ports, and how booking works. It is not a guarantee of prices, availability, or cruise line policies, which change often.

If something is wrong, email info@velocityraptor.co with the page link and what to fix. We correct factual errors as soon as we can verify them and update the article. Cruise lines change itineraries, fees, and policies often, so check with your cruise line or travel advisor before you book.

• Some links on CruiseKick are affiliate links, for example to Cruisebound deals and travel insurance. We may earn a commission if you buy through them. They are marked as sponsored in the page code and do not decide what we write.
• CruiseKick refers readers to Kelly's travel business, Vacations by Kelly. When you ask for a quote, your request goes to Kelly on her own site under her own privacy policy. CruiseKick may benefit from those referrals.
• The CruiseKick app is a paid subscription product, and we promote it on this site.
